Opening Doors Through Education

At Culture Connect WA, we believe education is a pathway to empowerment.

Our scholarship initiative is designed to provide financial support for refugees, asylum seekers, and international students who face significant barriers to accessing quality education and employment opportunities in Australia.

These scholarships will support access to accredited culinary training—such as the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery—combined with real-world work experience and wrap-around support services. We aim to create pathways to employment, independence, and community connection through food.

As part of the program,

Scholarship recipients will also lead public cooking classes, where they can share their personal stories and cultural heritage through food. These sessions provide not only valuable teaching experience but also a powerful platform for connection, storytelling, and cross-cultural learning.

Status: Not Yet Launched

While the program structure and training partnerships are in place, we are currently in the fundraising stage. Your support will help us bring these scholarships to life and empower participants to build careers and share their journeys through food.
