Culture Connect WA’s educational programs are designed to create inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning experiences through the power of food.
These non-profit programs are tailored to meet the needs of:
People living with disabilities
Empowering participants through hands-on cooking classes that build life skills, independence, creativity and a sense of achievement in a safe, supportive environment.
Indigenous youth
Teaching healthy eating, cooking techniques and food literacy through culturally relevant and modern approaches. These programs aim to empower Indigenous youth by developing an understanding of nutrition, promoting healthy food choices and celebrating traditional food practices alongside contemporary cooking methods.
Each program is crafted to build confidence, cultural pride and meaningful learning experiences, all while building practical skills in the kitchen. We are committed to making these programs accessible, inclusive and culturally enriching.
Status: Not Yet Running
We are ready to launch these programs but need your support to make them happen. Funds raised will go toward venue hire, kitchen equipment, accessibility resources, culturally appropriate materials, and program facilitation.
