Cultural Exchange

Culture Connect aims to support refugees and international students through scholarships while providing educational cooking classes for individuals with disabilities and Indigenous youth.

These initiatives promote healthy lifestyles and introduce potential opportunities in the hospitality industry. Culture Connect WA blends social responsibility with profitability by offering high-quality catering services as a not for profit venture and culinary education programs as non-profit initiatives. This dual approach creates opportunities for cultural exchange, financial sustainability, and career development for underrepresented groups.

Culture Connect WA is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to creating meaningful connections between refugees/allsyum seekers, international students, indigenous youth and the broader Western Australian community through the power of food. We celebrate cultural diversity by sharing stories, traditions, and skills through cooking, education, and hospitality experiences.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and gather. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, recognising their enduring strength, wisdom, and cultural heritage. As a community of diverse backgrounds, we are committed to truth-telling, listening, learning, and standing in solidarity with First Nations Peoples in Australia and worldwide.
